Janell Esplin is an owner of Trail Works Consulting, where she specializes in Organizational Design and Strategy, Talent Acquisition leadership, and executive search. With a decade of experience in the talent space, she partners with organizations to build high-performing teams, design effective organizational structures, and develop strategic approaches to attracting and retaining top talent.
Throughout her career, Janell has led Talent Acquisition efforts that identify and recruit exceptional talent across a broad range of functions and organizational levels, helping organizations hire hundreds of professionals from early career to senior leadership. Janell is passionate about solving complex workforce challenges and developing thoughtful, people-centered talent strategies that help businesses grow and thrive in evolving labor markets.
Janell holds a bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Sciences: Psychology from Utah Valley University. She is a strong advocate for individuals who lack representation and is actively involved in community service and volunteer efforts. Outside of her professional work, Janell is an avid soccer fan who enjoys reading and spending time with her family.
