October 13: Allena Pierce, Cache County Events Center, 12:00 pm, $15
Bio: Allena Pierce serves as the Community Health Services Deputy Lead at the Bear River Health Department, which serves Box Elder, Cache and Rich counties. In this role, she works in a variety of prevention programs including injury, diabetes, opioid overdose and suicide. She is a Certified Child Passenger Safety Technician, Substance Abuse Prevention Specialist and a National Diabetes Prevention Program Lifestyle Coach. Allena enjoys working in her community, providing support and linking individuals and groups to available services. She has
worked in the health field for over 30 years, with the last 22 in Public Health. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends.
