Topic: WARN (Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification), also a presentation on Rapid Response given to employers when they lay off. Tony will also talk about Unemployment.
Bio: Tony have been working with the State of Utah for just over 10 years. He is originally from California where he worked for the local government for about 11 years, before they decided to follow family and move to Utah. In his time with the State, he has spent time in Unemployment Insurance and Anti-discrimination with the Labor Commission. Tony is currently a State Program Specialist over three different programs. He is over Migrant Seasonal Farmworker, Foreign Labor Certification and the Rapid Response Program. His oversight of WARN is part of Rapid Response.
