Title: “Aggies Thrive initivate”
DESCRIPTION OF PRESENTATION:
The challenges brought by COVID-19 were undoubtedly daunting, yet they provided valuable lessons. One such lesson was the realization that remote work can be highly effective for many individuals. Additionally, the pandemic underscored the importance of prioritizing mental health as an integral aspect of employee well-being. As employers, it is imperative that we seek ways to enhance mental health support within our organizations.
USU had already been laying the groundwork for a mental health initiative when the pandemic struck, allowing them to launch the Aggies Thrive initiative in August 2020, fittingly timed to address emerging needs. USU’s goals encompassed destigmatizing mental health, fostering a supportive Aggie culture, delivering mental health education, disseminating information about related events, and providing access to relevant resources.
This presentation will delve into USU’s Aggies Thrive initiative, its objectives, communication strategies, and areas where they aim to further enhance efforts.
