This session will discuss what stays, what goes, what’s new, and what you should plan for as you assess your benefit strategies for the future.
John Kane is a CPA in the Logan office of Cook Martin Poulson, PC. John enjoys interacting with clients and working with them to create solutions to problems. John is a native of Logan and earned both a bachelors and masters degree in accounting from Utah State University. He has been with Cook Martin Poulson, PC since 2012 and works in the tax department. John’s primary focus is on individuals and small businesses in the medical, manufacturing, automotive, and agriculture industries. Prior to joining Cook Martin Poulson, PC John worked in Idaho Falls for an accounting firm where he gained experience in auditing governmental and nonprofit entities.
John and his wife Melissa have been married for eight years. John and Melissa have been friends since junior high and have a son and a daughter, who keep them busy. John enjoys spending time outdoors, swimming, cycling, and mountain biking. In the fall, John spends time at Sky View High School where he serves as the Bobcats’ head swim coach. John enjoys being able to give back to the community through coaching and thrives on helping athletes achieve their goals.
